Opteris Partners works with leadership teams navigating the moments that define what a business becomes next. Whether you're integrating an acquisition, modernizing operations that have outpaced your current infrastructure, or building the systems foundation that will carry your next stage of growth. We help you find and capture the value that's already inside your business. We do that through sharper operations, smarter use of technology, and the change leadership that turns good systems into lasting improvement.
Let's Talk.Every business has a version of itself that's performing below its potential. Sometimes that gap is visible: a system that doesn't talk to another system, a process that still runs on spreadsheets, a headcount that's grown faster than the infrastructure supporting it. Sometimes it's less obvious, buried in how decisions get made, how work actually flows, or how much the business still depends on one or two people to function.
Opteris Partners was built to close that gap. We work with leadership teams at inflection points: companies navigating growth, transformation, acquisition, or a transition toward a sale. We identify where operational value is being left on the table and build the systems, processes, and organizational foundation to capture it.
We bring senior leadership experience, deep technical fluency, and a decade of change management experience to every engagement. That combination matters because sustainable operational improvement requires both: the systems and process work to design the right solution, and the change leadership to make sure it actually gets used. Most transformations fail not because the solution was wrong, but because adoption was an afterthought. We build the change infrastructure into every engagement from day one. Leadership alignment, capability building, and organizational accountability are not a follow-on workstream. They are how we work.
In most cases, the biggest gains don't come from new tools. They come from better use of what's already there, and from building the organizational capability to sustain that improvement long after the engagement ends.
Embedded ongoing leadership on a part-time basis. You get a senior operator inside your organization: present, accountable, and fully integrated, without the full-time cost.
Strategic counsel for specific challenges. Designed for boards and founders who need an experienced perspective on operations and value creation decisions without day-to-day involvement.
Defined scope, timeline, and outcome for a specific need. Ideal when you know what needs to get done and want a senior leader to own it from start to finish.
Every engagement starts with the same question: where is this business leaving value on the table? The answer shapes everything. Which systems we look at, where technology can do more, whether the organizational structure is built for the strategy, and what it will take to make the change actually stick. What follows is what that work looks like in practice.
The people function is often where operational drag hides. Misaligned structures, outdated processes, and under-leveraged systems quietly limit what a business can do and what it's worth. We step in as senior HR and people operations leadership for companies that need the function rebuilt, modernized, or run at a higher level. We design the right systems and build the change capability for people to actually use them, because the best people infrastructure only creates value when it changes how work actually gets done.
For boards and leadership teams that need a senior operational voice in the room. Not a consultant presenting a deck, but an experienced operator who understands how people, systems, and organizational structure connect to business value. We advise on the decisions that matter most: organizational design, leadership transitions, technology strategy, and operational readiness for a transaction or the next stage of growth.
Most businesses are running on a fraction of what their existing systems can actually do. Before recommending anything new, we audit what's already there. We identify capabilities being underutilized, manual work that shouldn't still be manual, and places where AI can take real cost or friction out of operations. Then we do the harder work: building the adoption infrastructure so improvements hold. The result is measurable operational improvement grounded in how the business actually works, not a technology roadmap that looks good on paper and stalls in practice.
The difference between a good exit and a great one usually comes down to one thing: whether the business looks like it runs on systems or whether it runs on the owner. We work with owner-operators preparing for a transaction to implement the operational infrastructure, documented processes, and organizational clarity that increase enterprise value, reduce buyer risk, and make due diligence a strength rather than a vulnerability.

Founder & Principal
Eric founded Opteris Partners on a straightforward premise: most businesses have more value inside them than they're currently capturing. Finding it requires someone who understands both the strategic and the operational: someone who can read a business at the leadership level and then get into the systems, the workflows, and the organizational structure to understand where the gap actually is.
He brings 20 years of experience leading operations and people functions inside scaling companies, PE-backed businesses, and established enterprises navigating transformation. He has built and restructured functions, led technology and systems implementations, managed organizations through M&A, and advised leadership teams on the decisions that determine what a business is capable of becoming.
He holds board advisory and fractional executive certifications and works with founders, leadership teams, and boards who need a senior operator in their corner: someone who understands the business well enough to know where the real leverage is.
No pitch deck. No long intake form. Just a direct conversation about what you're working on and whether we're the right fit.
